Welland Tribune: Welland a ‘resilient’ city, says lieutenant governor

The Welland Tribune reported that Ontario Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell visited Welland at the International Flatwater Centre on May 3. There she met with a range of individuals, including Niagara College President Dan Patterson, among other representatives. Dowdeswell noted the strong sense of collaboration in Welland and recognized that Welland’s approach to doing business is in line with the United Nations’ goal to recognize sustainable and resilient communities in a global economy.
