Niagara This Week reported on internship opportunities at CannTrust, licensed cannabis producers, of which Niagara College Commercial Cannabis Production program student Denzil Rose took part. Rose’s 10-week internship involved all aspects of production, from propagation to flowering to quality assurance.
CannTrust’s state-of-the-art facility is highly regarded, and the company won top licensed producer of the year at the 2018 Canadian Cannabis Awards.
Director of cultivation with CannTrust, Nick Phelan, says that Niagara College students are dedicated and passionate about the industry, and bring skills that are highly valued.
