Ahong and Rotteveel pitched their business, Cancer RX, which assists cancer patients with achieving better health performance through a customized exercise program. Madison Fuller, manager of ncTakeOff, explained how student pitches were judged, with emphasis on how the proposals had a local impact in the Niagara Region. Vivian Kinnaird, NC’s dean of Business, Hospitality and Environment, also provides commentary on the skills students develop through competitions like Pitch Perfect at NC.

Ahong and Rotteveel’s venture hopes to help increase survivability of their clients, aged 65 and older, though cancer-specific exercises and improve the lives of those in the Niagara region. They plan to invest their winnings in a free eight-week pilot program for eight individuals at NC’s Welland Campus.
