Cogeco’s YourTV aired a segment on March 25 about NC’s partnership with Tabor Manor. Students in NC’s Fitness and Health Promotion program have been providing fitness instruction to seniors living at Tabor Manor in St. Catharines since January. The segment includes interviews with CEO of Tabor Manor Tim Siemens, resident Anne Friesen, students Danielle Rankie and Alexa Schonewille, and dean of Community and Health Services Carolyn Triemstra. Siemens and Triemstra discuss how the partnership came about and the Career Ready grant funding that made the 2019 pilot possible.
