CKTB: Roundtable Road Trip Niagara College Welland

On Friday, March 8, Newstalk 610 CKTB broadcasted their Roundtable Road Trip series from Niagara College’s Welland Campus, interviewing a variety of NC folk on topics related to economic development.

Jim Lambert, manager of NC’s Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre joined Wendy Smith, Administrator at the Niagara Industrial Association, to talk about Niagara’s growing workforce innovation in advanced manufacturing. Listen to the radio show segment.

Director of Marketing and Recruitment Dorita Pentesco and Dean of Community and Health Studies Carolyn Triemstra discussed NC’s leadership in healthcare studies, NC’s designation as an age-friendly institution, and the upcoming Spring Open House on March 23. Listen to the radio show segment here.

The first of the morning roundtables saw NC’s Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation Michele O’Keefe talking with Sandra Murray-McDonell, CEO of the CCAA about the college hosting this year’s CCAA women’s volleyball championship, and about NC’s growing profile in the world of varsity athletics.
