In honour of Black History Month, ncTakeOff and ncLibraries are hosting a documentary screening of Journey to Justice on February 19 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus.
Screenings will take place 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. in room W212.
Based in the 1950s, Journey to Justice tells the story of six black Canadians who took racism to court and helped secure justice for all. The story follows the real life pursuit of equality of Viola Desmond, Fred Christie, Hugh Burnette, Bromley Armstrong, Donald Willard Moore, and Stanley G. Grizzle.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome.
