I’m pleased to share that Niagara College’s 2019 Employee Engagement Survey will be conducted from February 6 to 20, 2019. These surveys have been a vital part of our workplace culture at NC for over ten years, and in that time have helped us make significant strides in accomplishing our shared goal of student success. This year’s survey is a chance for us all to provide feedback on NC’s unique workplace culture, share our experiences, and find new opportunities for improvement.
The survey will be open to all staff and faculty who have a commitment for the Winter term (including non-full-time) and will be delivered by TalentMap, a company that specializes in employee engagement measurement and benchmarking. You will receive an email from TalentMap next Wednesday inviting you to complete the survey.
It’s important to note that all feedback given through the survey is completely confidential, and is delivered directly to TalentMap. The college will not be given access to the raw data, or to any report or information that would enable us to identify an individual.
NC has a long history of administering such surveys and we were one of the first colleges in Ontario to conduct them on a regular basis. They are an important tool in helping us to measure, analyze, report back on, and continuously improve our College.
It’s impossible to understate how much I, and the entire college leadership team, value your input through these surveys. Your energy and shared passion for student success is what enables us to accomplish truly remarkable things. As someone who is directly involved in the success of our operations, your open and honest feedback is essential in helping us chart the way forward for our organization.
Results from the survey will be shared college-wide in Spring/Summer 2019 and will help us to identify our strengths and areas for improvement. This will be followed up with planning sessions to help each department understand, interpret and where appropriate, action the results.
