On Jan. 25, The St. Catharines Standard published a story about Soups On, a longstanding community celebration and fundraiser for students in Welland. Community members flock to the annual event to savor soups prepared by Niagara College culinary students, community organizations, and local high schools. All proceeds go toward student scholarships for post-secondary education.
