Niagara College Career Services staff members Monique Morin, Dana Brown and Marsha Fiorino collect donations in preparation for the Dress to Impress clothing giveaway for students.

Are your closets bursting at the brim with business clothing that’s in great condition, but that you no longer wear? Spouse or partner constantly complaining you have too many clothes? Put a sock in it, and let your gently used clothing contribute to student success!

Student Services is once again collecting good condition, laundered professional clothes for its annual Dress to Impress event, to be held in the new year at both the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus and Welland Campus. Students will have an opportunity to pick up donated professional clothing free of charge, and learn more about how to present themselves well for interviews and the workplace. The giveaway helps students prepare for the Career Fair at Niagara College, the largest College career event of the year, to be held Feb. 5-7, 2019 at both campuses.

Everything from suits and dresses, to casual basics, shoes and accessories are needed, and can be donated at both campuses. Bring your recently cleaned and laundered ( free of pet hair and odours) to Marsha Fiorino in W115 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, or Monique Morin in SE101 at the Welland Campus.

Donations will be accepted until Jan. 22, 2019.
