The Welland Tribune / St. Catharines Standard and Niagara Falls Review  posted an article about how nearly $100,000 in new federal funding granted to Niagara College has provided the College with new technology to help students and the wine industry with research and crop management.

The article was posted on November 6, following a visit to the NOTL Campus by Minister of Science and Sport Kirsty Duncan  to celebrate the $94,000 grant made possible through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s College and Community Innovation program. The article also showcases a new tool purchased with the funds, the new RoamIO Jumbo. The advanced, rugged land rover  is able to patrol vineyard rows with ease, helping farmers increase profitability or even save their crop from damaging weather.
