Federal funding helps Niagara College buy smart farming technology

CKTB Newstalk 610 posted new funding Niagara College received from the  Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada on Nov. 6.

The article was posted a day after Minister of Science and Sport Kirsty Duncan visited the College to make the announcement. It noted that an  advanced land rover, unmanned aerial systems, and modern high performance computing equipment has been purchased for the College’s Agriculture and Environmental Technologies Innovation Centre thanks to a $94,000 grant through the College and Community Innovation Program.
