NCSAC, CSEL and International are teaming up to bring the NC spirit to the Niagara Rose Festival Grande Parade.
They are seeking staff and students represent Niagara College at Welland’s Rose Festival Grande Parade on Sunday, June 24. The parade will be traveling down Niagara Street.
Participants will meet at the Quaker Road Baseball Sports Complex (Welland) at 11:45 a.m. The parade is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and to conclude at about 3 p.m.
Interested? Here’s what you need to know:
- Participants should be prepared to walk for the two hour duration of the parade.
- Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
- All participants (staff, students, and guests) will receive a NC blue t-shirt to wear for the parade. Quantities are limited so please sign up online to reserve yours: international.niagaracollege.ca/event/the-grande-parade-welland-rose-festival/.
- If in doubt, please try to wear NC blue clothing if possible!
- Friends and family of staff are welcome to attend as long as they are wearing NC clothing NC blue clothing.
- The group will be representing Niagara College and showing all the Welland businesses and residents how thankful we are for their community support.
- Staff and faculty are encouraged to share this message with students in an effort to include as many students as possible.
