Local groups get Trillium grants


Niagara College’s involvement in a project is mentioned in a Niagara This Week article, posted February 3.

As part of a Trillium Grant received by the Niagara Restoration Council, NC will be involved in a project to improve  fish habitats, watershed health and ecosystem education along 12 Mile Creek in St. Catharines. The only waterway in Niagara that is habitable for brook trout, the grant will go toward promoting the health of the trout population in the creek.
