A message from the NC Greenhouse:
Learn to create an outdoor masterpiece of seasonal winter greens.
The NC Greenhouse is hosting two winter urn workshops in November. An expert planter and NC students help you create the winter urn that you have always wanted. We have all that you need, from fresh cut evergreen boughs to some of the specialty items like curly willow, osage orange and much, much more. For $55, you will be able to create a great insert for your front porch while you enjoy refreshments supplied by NC’s Benchmark restaurant.
The workshops will be held on November 19 (from 11 a.m. to noon) and November 27 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Holiday dish garden workshop
Have you ever wanted to create your very own dish garden? Well here is your chance to learn from our expert.
Teri Sherwood along with some of our top students will be hosting a workshop on how to plant up a holiday style dish garden on December 3. You will have your choice of plant material and pots to create your masterpiece the way you want it. Sign up soon as space is limited. Enjoy refreshments and fresh baked goods from our very own Benchmark Restaurant.
The holiday dish garden workshop will be held on December 3 from 11 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $30 plus fees and taxes includes refreshments.
