Excitement is building on our campuses with major expansions underway, and with shovels about to break ground on another round of projects this spring.
Our Capital Vision project is providing new and expanded facilities to support growth, enhance our student services and expand our capacity for research and innovation. You can learn more about these projects here.
Capital Vision is financed with college funds, support from government and the Achieving Dreams Campaign, which is raising funds to support Capital Vision, as well as equipment and learning resources, scholarships and bursaries, and study-work abroad and leadership development opportunities for students.
Since its launch in spring 2013, the campaign has drawn significant support. More than 750 individuals and companies have contributed, including significant gifts from Guelph Food Technology Centre Legacy Fund, Keith Segal/Guard.me., Meridian, PenFinancial, TD Bank, and the Walker family and its company, Walker Holdings Limited which contributed $1.2 million – the largest corporate donation in our college’s history. These donors see their support of Niagara College as an important investment in our community. They believe in our ability to drive economic development and growth in Niagara, and to produce highly skilled and knowledgeable graduates who are contributing to the key sectors of our economy.
We are also looking to our college community to make important investments in our students and our community. Contributing to the Achieving Dreams Campaign helps to support student success and to strengthen Niagara College’s position as an economic leader in Niagara and beyond:
- It supports the construction of leading-edge facilities and learning environments;
- It enhances our role as a leader in research and innovation;
- It helps to fund scholarships and bursaries that provide access to education for students who might otherwise be unable to pursue and achieve their dreams;
- And it supports unique work and study abroad opportunities that help students become work ready and world ready.
