Dear Colleagues,
The annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Student Satisfaction Survey period is now underway and will run until February 12.
Mandated by the province of Ontario, the KPI Survey is administered in class at all 24 Ontario colleges each year. It measures satisfaction in four key areas of college life, including programs, learning experiences, facilities and services.
Historically, the results of this survey have placed Niagara College among Ontario’s leaders in student satisfaction, while other KPIs show that our graduates get jobs, and employers are very pleased with the skills and knowledge that they bring to the workplace. These positive results are a reflection of your hard work and shared commitment to our students’ success and are a great source of pride for all of us.
The valuable feedback and information generated through KPIs allows us to continuously improve the programs and services that we provide. The results of this survey help to drive initiatives and improvements that enhance student satisfaction and success, while supporting our key goal of providing an unparalleled experience for our students.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our faculty for accommodating this important survey during valuable class time. I also want to thank Maria Vandelaar and Sandy Herkimer, along with their team of volunteers who will be administering the KPI surveys over the next two weeks. Your willingness to assist in this important task is very much appreciated. If you have any questions regarding the KPI survey, please contact Katerina Gonzalez, director, Planning and Institutional Research at ext. 7120.
Cheers,
Dan
