The Enactus National Exposition is an annual event brings together student, academic and industry leaders from across the country to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s future leaders and entrepreneurs. NC has participated in Enactus for well over a decade (formerly called Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE), and Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship). In 2010, NC won first place at the regional competition. That same year, the team’s faculty advisor Rob Greene (professor, Business and Entrepreneurship Division) was honoured with the Faculty Advisor of the Year award for all of Canada.
While many students who participate in Enactus are enrolled in the college’s Business programs, students from all programs are welcome to join the team, which is based out of the NOTL Campus. Students dedicate hundreds of hours towards community projects, allowing them to apply what they have learned in the classroom, to real situations.
