
In partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara College’s Event Management program is excited to announce that Jet Black and Dave Schram, hilarious duo from Amazing Race Canada, will be hosting Solving Niagara on April 5.
The Amazing-Race-style event is a fundraiser for Niagara College’s Many Hands Project, supporting renovations to The Upper Deck Youth Centre in Vineland.
The event will be held in the Clifton Hill area of Niagara Falls. In teams of two, participants will solve a series of clues or challenges in order to get to their next checkpoint. Teams will sign in at 10 a.m. at Oakes Garden Theatre Park and the race will kick off at 11 a.m After the race, participants will regroup for a celebration party at Boston Pizza (4950 Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls) starting at 2 p.m. and prizes will be awarded when the last team arrives (no later than 3 p.m.).
Jet and Dave will be hosting the event, available for photos and autographs throughout the day and at the event after party at Boston Pizza.
Tickets are still available for the event for $35 per registrant ($70 for one team). The cost includes admission to all challenge checkpoints, a t-shirt, drawstring bag, reusable water bottle, and unlimited pizza at the finish line.
