Indigenous Admissions Pathway

Niagara College offers an Indigenous Admissions Pathway for Indigenous students who identify as First Nation (Status or Non-Status), Métis, or Inuit.

Whether you’ve just graduated high school or are an adult learner, we’re committed to helping Indigenous students succeed! We are working to remove barriers and provide services and support through Indigenous Centres and Indigenous Counselling at both of our campuses. Part of this support includes helping you with the NC application process!

Our Indigenous Admissions Pathway helps give equitable access to Indigenous applicants for competitive Niagara College programs. We’re aware of the systemic barriers and adversities that Indigenous people face when pursuing a college or university education. This application process helps Indigenous applicants to apply to the program of their choice with less weight given to their past grades. Applicants must still meet the minimum entrance requirements.
