Transcript Requests
Niagara College has joined the ARUCC National Network called MyCreds™ which provides secure online documents through a learner focused online portable wallet.
Transcripts ordered from Niagara College (through option 1 or 3 below) will be delivered through the MyCreds™ Learner Portal. After requesting your transcript, you will receive an email in 1-2 business days with instructions on how to set-up your MyCreds™ account to access your transcript. Please ensure that your email is up to date when requesting your transcript.
Please note that you will not receive a copy of your transcript when you graduate, however, transcripts are available through the Enrolment Services Office.
Request a Transcript
Option 1: Request a transcript through MyCreds™ via MyNC
You may request a transcript via your MyNC account.
- Log in to MyNC.
- Go to Dashboard > My Student Record > Request for Transcript.

Option 2: Request a transcript from your OCAS or OUAC application
Please note that an additional fee may be charged to you for the below services.
- Visit OntarioColleges.ca to send your transcript to a college within Ontario from an Ontario public college or university.
- Visit Ontario Universities Application Centre to send your transcript to a university within Ontario from an Ontario public college or university.
Option 3: Submit a request form (no MyNC access)
If you do not have access to a MyNC account, please download the Transcript Request Form. Please email the completed form to [email protected].

MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ is owned by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC).
It is a national credential wallet for postsecondary learners created by Canadian higher education leadership and demonstrates how ARUCC and Canadian colleges, institutes and universities are committed to ensuring official and secure document exchange that adheres to the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN) principles: “Citizens worldwide should be able to consult and share their authentic educational data with whomever they want, whenever they want, wherever.”
ARUCC became a signatory to the GDN principles in 2015.

Downloaded transcripts are not official as they are subject to tampering and their authenticity cannot be verified by the receiver.

Access the MyCreds™ Learner Portal
Once you’ve requested your transcript from Niagara College, there will be 2 ways to log into the MyCreds™ Learner Portal. Your transcript will be delivered through this Portal.
Email Notification Received
If you receive an email notification once your transcript is issued, follow the link in the email notification and you will be directed to log in using your Niagara College username and password. The email will be sent to the address specified on the transcript request form.
Email Notification Not Received
Please ensure that you have checked your junk inbox for your MyCreds™ email. You may also attempt to use the MyCreds™ sign-in page, signing in with your Education Provider being Niagara College, if you already have an account.
Please allow 1-2 business days to receive your email notification.
Frequently Asked Questions
Digital Credentials
Niagara College will now be issuing credentials via the MyCreds™ network. As of December 2023, credentials are available for Post-secondary Programs and Apprenticeships who graduated in October 2023 to present. Credentials will continue to be released in MyCreds™ following convocation ceremonies in October and June of each year.
General Questions
Your official transcript is accessed through the MyCreds™ portal. After you complete your request through the MyCreds™ portal, your transcript can be digitally shared to third parties such as other institutions, official government agencies and an employer.
Once downloaded as a PDF in your MyCreds™ portal, the document becomes unofficial. Please ensure when sharing with other parties to use a generated link provided by MyCreds™. For more information regarding sharing documents, please visit https://mycreds.ca/learners/faqs/.
When shared through the MyCreds™ platform, the official transcript (e-transcript) is authentic, tamper-evident and legally valid. Documents issued through MyCreds™ contain digital signatures that meet the legal requirements of certified digital documents in countries around the world. When you share your documents with third parties through the MyCreds™ portal, these digital signatures ensure their authenticity.
MyCreds™ stores your documents securely with your data remaining under Niagara College’s control. You control who you share your documents with. The underlying MyCreds™ systems have been independently tested by security experts.

All MyCreds™ notifications for current students and recent graduates will be sent to the email address specified on the request form – either your Campus email or Personal/Home email.
If you are a former student and/or you no longer have an active Niagara College email account, the notification will be sent to the email address you include in your request form.
Yes, visit niagaracollege.ca/mync/help/request-transcript/ for detailed instructions about how to request a MyCreds™ transcript via MyNC.
Yes. However, if you receive new grades or there is a change to your transcript you will need to request a new transcript.
Transcript requests are processed and transmitted daily; however, due to volume of requests, it can take up to 5 business days for your request to be processed.
You will receive an email notification from MyCreds™ once your transcript is available for you to view and share. Don’t forget to check your junk mailbox if you don’t see a message from MyCreds™.
If you have a hold on your NC account that restricts you from receiving a transcript, your transcript will not be issued until the balance and/or other obligations have been cleared. Please contact [email protected] for more information regarding the hold on your account.
If you require a transcript after the end of a term or immediately after you have graduated, select “End of Term” when indicating when you want the transcript sent on your request form. If this option is selected in error and you would like your transcript immediately, you will be directed to contact [email protected] for assistance.
Sharing Your Transcript
- Once you receive the confirmation email that your e-transcript is available, simply follow the link provided to log in to your secure account on the MyCreds™ Learner portal. Don’t forget to check your junk folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.
- From the Documents page, which will be displayed after login, click on the Share button next to the document you wish to share. You will enter the recipient email address and MyCreds™ will send an email to the person or organization. You can specify for how long they can access the document or require them to have a PIN to access the document.
- This Document Sharing screen is where you will enter the recipient email address. Once you have entered the email address, click the Continue button.
- Review the confirmation message which will include the email address for the recipient you have shared your transcript with. You can advise the recipient to expect an email notification from MyCreds.ca|Mes Certif.ca <[email protected]>.

Yes. As a learner or student, you have full control over access to your documents. In the MyCreds™ Learner Portal, you can view the individual share that you would like to change and disable the recipient’s access at any time.
When shared through the MyCreds™ platform, the official transcript is authentic, tamper- resistant, and legally valid. Documents issued through MyCreds™ contain digital signatures that meet the legal requirements of certified digital documents in countries around the world. The majority of organizations recognize and accept official electronic documents from verified providers like MyCreds™.
If your recipient is not allowing you this option, please email [email protected] with the details of the situation and we can assist you in sharing your transcript with the recipient.
Documents issued through MyCreds™ contain digital signatures that meet the legal requirements of certified digital documents in countries around the world.
When students or alumni share their documents with third parties through the MyCreds™ portal, these digital signatures ensure their authenticity as a document issued by Niagara College.
Transcripts are official only when bearing the Blue Ribbon Symbol and a valid digital certification issued by GlobalSign CA for Adobe.
A document is only considered official and is a trusted document if a recipient receives it in an email sent by MyCreds™. The URL should start with https://learner.mycreds.ca.
A transcript routed to a recipient from an individual personal email is not official.
When you view the document through the MyCreds™ portal, you should see that:
- Document status says Available.
- The document has the Certified blue ribbon symbol.
- You can view the certificate information.
If a document has been revoked or the share has expired or been disabled by the student, you will see a document verification failure message when you access the link.
