Orientation Sessions

Join us Friday, May 8, 2026 for Orientation, when most Program Information Sessions take place.

Orientation Day is very important. Your Program Information Session is your chance to connect with your program coordinators and instructors, who are excited to welcome you to NC! You will receive critical information about your program and courses. Most programs will schedule their session in person on Orientation Day at the campus that you will be attending, but some programs may schedule your session online, or during your first day of classes. Check the sessions schedule below to know where and when your session is taking place. Don’t forget to keep checking your e-mail for updated information!

What’s a Program Information Session?

  • Sessions are hosted on-campus or online, depending on your program. Some programs have scheduled their session on the first day of class rather than on Orientation.
  • You’ll review your courses, TLP (Teaching Learning Plan), what supplies you will need and what you need to know for your first day of classes.
  • Go over Brightspace and what your responsibilities are as a student to succeed in your program.
  • Those in a co-op program will also learn information about how to secure a co-op position, about the MyCareer portal, and you’ll have the chance to connect with your Co-op Consultant if you have any questions.
  • This is your chance to have your questions answered before classes start.

Attending your Program Information Session is mandatory. Your session will give you information which is important to your success as a student, and will allow you to ask questions, connect with your instructors and fellow students, and introduce yourself. Please make sure you’ve cleared your schedule and are available to attend.
