Bargaining continues between Ontario’s 24 publicly funded colleges — including Niagara College — and the Ontario Public Sector Employees Union (OPSEU), which represents full-time support staff. OPSEU has indicated that it will initiate a province-wide strike on September 11 if a deal is not reached. All classes will continue as scheduled in the event of a strike.
