Thank you to the students who responded to the Learning Management System (LMS) survey which closed on October 14. The response exceeded expectations and we are pleased to see so much engagement and insight into the future system to support your learning at Niagara College. Winners of the survey draw will be contacted at the end of the week.
Between November 1 and 10, the College will host small focus groups to ask students in more detail about their experiences with our current LMS Blackboard, and their hopes and vision for the ways in which an updated system could support their learning.
The open focus groups will be 90 minutes long, with some taking place virtually and some on-campus, and with up to 10 participants in a single session.
Have your say and register for one of the following focus groups:
November 1 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. (Virtual)
November 4 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. (Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake)
November 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (Virtual)
November 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Welland Campus)
Students who participate in a focus group will receive an acknowledgement on their Co-Curricular Record and a $30 gift card.
