Niagara College will remain open and all classes and activities will run as scheduled on Monday, September 19, which has been declared by the Province of Ontario as a Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II. Coverage of the funeral that day will run on screens in the Wellness Lounges at the Welland Campus and Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where those who choose to do so may also join in a moment of silence in memory of Queen Elizabeth II at 1 p.m.
