Register for a virtual consultation, April 12 to 14 or 20, or, fill out the online consultation form!
NC’s Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce – a joint effort by Niagara College and NCSAC made up of students and employees – have reached an exciting juncture in their work on an equity, diversity and inclusion strategy: They want to learn from you!
The draft strategy highlights Niagara College’s commitment to providing accessible education and employment opportunities through policies, programs, and resources that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across our college community.
To identify concrete actions that will allow them to put this vision into practice across six strategic priority areas, students are invited to attend a virtual consultation, April 12 to 14. A new session has been added on April 20. Consultations are one hour in length.
Register now to share your ideas and feedback on how to increase equity, diversity and inclusion at Niagara College, where all members of our community are heard, valued and supported.
If you have registered for a consultation but have yet to receive a confirmation email, please contact Brooke Pasco – [email protected].
Unable to attend a consultation? Have your say by completing the online student consultation form!
Employees have been invited to attend virtual consultations within their departments throughout April and May, however there are also open employee consultations to ensure that those who might be away during their team consultation can still share their perspective. Employees can also complete the online employee consultation form.
The infographic below illustrates how the information collected from consultations will be used to inform the final EDI Blueprint for Niagara College.
