Students who need access to services and supports while self-isolating can consult our Self-Isolation Resources Documents for off-campus students and students living in residence located on the Resources page of the Return to Campus website. Support for employees is available through the Employee Family Assistance Program. NRPH also has a resource on how to cope during isolation.
If you develop symptoms while on campus
Students who develop symptoms while on campus should leave as soon as possible. If you cannot leave immediately, go to the COVID-19 Waiting Room on your campus until you can leave:

How will the College notify students and employees of positive cases or symptomatic individuals?
While the province has prioritized testing for high-risk groups and public health does not report positive cases to the College, when the College becomes aware of a positive case or when someone has reported COVID symptoms, it will notify as follows:
Students who may have been exposed to a positive case or individual with symptoms in a classroom or lab will be notified via their Blackboard classroom with the date of the potential exposure and instructions to self-monitor or self-isolate if symptoms develop (per Niagara Region Public Health guidelines).
Employees who may have been exposed to a positive case or individual with symptoms in a workspace will be notified by email by their supervisor with the date of the potential exposure and instructions to self-monitor or self-isolate if symptoms develop (per Niagara Region Public Health guidelines).
