Niagara College wishes you a safe and happy holiday season.
Our campuses will be closed beginning Dec. 24 at noon and will remain closed until Jan. 2, 2020 at which time we will resume our normal hours of operations. Students accessing classrooms or specialized labs at the Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake Campuses must have faculty authorization and sign in with Campus Safety.
Some services may be operating on modified hours leading up to the holiday closure and early in the new year. Here is a list of operating hours for our services and enterprises over the holidays.
Athletics and Recreation
Dec. 16-19 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dec. 20 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Dec. 21 – Jan. 5 – closed.
Jan. 6 to 10 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Jan. 11 to 12: closed.
Regular hours resume Jan. 13.
Benchmark Restaurant
Benchmark will be closed for the holidays after lunch service on Dec. 20 and through to Jan. 6, reopening Jan. 7.
Bench to Go will be closed beginning on Dec. 21, reopening Jan. 13, with the launch of a fresh new menu.
NC Bookstores
NC Bookstore at both campuses are closed beginning Dec. 24 at noon and will re-open with regular business hours, 8 am. to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 2.
Cafeterias/ Food Services
Cafeterias and Food Services will close Dec. 24, reopening Jan. 2.
From Dec. 16 to 20 and Jan. 2 to 3, the following break week hours will apply:
Tim Hortons – 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Subway – 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Pizza Pizza – 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Nourish/On the Go – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Chef Inspired – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Market Grill – 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
AHI Tim Hortons – closed.
Tech Building Café – closed.
Beginning Jan. 6, regular hours will resume.
Community Employment Services (43 Church Street):
Community Employment Services at 43 Church Street is open as follows:

Enrolment Services
Enrolment Services at both the Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake campuses will be have extended office hours on Monday, Jan. 6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., resume on Jan. 7.
Student Services
The offices of Academic Advising, Student Engagement and Leadership, and Career Services / Co-op will be closed Dec. 24 at noon, reopening Jan. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
Winter Term Orientation, Start-up, and Extended Hours
- Winter Orientation will be held Jan. 3.
- Classes begin on Jan. 6.
NC Greenhouse
The Greenhouse will be closed for the holidays beginning Dec. 24, reopening Jan. 6.
NC Libraries
NC Libraries will be operating on a modified schedule from Dec. 16 to Jan. 5.
Dec. 16 to 18: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dec. 19: closed for staff professional development.
Dec. 21-22: closed.
Dec. 23: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dec. 24: 8 a.m. to noon.
Dec. 25 to Jan. 1: closed.
Jan. 2 to 3: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Regular hours at ncLibraries, which includes weekdays until 10 p.m. and weekends, will resume on January 6.

NCSAC Offices and Student Centres
NCSAC Offices will be closed on Dec. 24 at 12:30 p.m., reopening Jan. 2 at 8:30 a.m.
The Core (Welland) and Armoury (NOTL) and the Shack Student Café (Welland) will be closed from Dec. 24 at 2 p.m. The Undergrounds (NOTL) will be closed from Dec. 24 at 11 a.m. All will reopen on Jan. 2.
Retail stores at the NC Teaching Brewery and Wine Visitor and Education Centre
Will be open for regular hours from Sunday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on the following dates:
- Dec. 24: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Dec. 25: closed.
- Dec. 31: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Jan. 1: closed.
NC Teaching Spa
The NC Teaching Spa is presently closed for exams and the holidays. Winter term hours will be available in the New Year. Visit ncteachingspa.ca.
