Please keep in mind certain campus facilities will be unavailable to students and staff during Canada Day and the Niagara-On-The-Lake (NOTL) scheduled power-outage.

Niagara College (Welland and NOTL) will be closed on June 30 for Canada Day with limited access to facilities on campus. Additionally, Niagara College’s NOTL campus will be closed from 5 p.m. June 28- July 2. Services will be limited on the NOTL campus during this period for during this scheduled power outage to upgrade the campus’ electrical work.

Students who plan to access classrooms or specialized labs at the NOTL and Welland campuses need faculty authorization and must sign in with Campus Safety (security).

Retail stores at the NC Teaching Brewery as well as the Wine Visitor and Education Center will be open Canada Day and all weekend.

The NC Libraries will be closed June 30. NOTL and Welland campus libraries will be closed through the weekend as scheduled for summer hours. Resources are still available online 24/7 at

The NC Bookstores will be closed on Canada Day and through the June 28- July 2 at the NOTL campus (as scheduled).

The NC Greenhouse will be open on Canada Day and throughout the weekend as scheduled.

Benchmark Restaurant will be closed from June 28- July 5 with respect to the scheduled power outage at the NOTL campus.

Employment and Training Solutions will be closed on Canada Day and will re-open on the 4th at 8:30 a.m.

The NC Print Shops will be closed during Canada Day.

The NC cafeterias will be closed during Canada Day.

NC SAC offices on both campuses will be closed during Canada Day. SAC offices will re-open for regular office hours on Monday, July 3 from 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. on both campuses.
