The Teaching Winery at the CFWI offers both a diploma and certificate program for those with the desire to succeed in the sophisticated and dynamic field of wineries and viticulture. It is Canada’s only commercial teaching winery, and an internationally award-winning program located in the heart of Canada’s largest and fastest growing wine region.

The NC Teaching Winery is located within the Wine Visitor + Education Centre at the Niagara College Niagara-on-the-Lake campus. The Winery Retail Store within the WV+EC is open seven days a week for tour and tasting experiences.

The WV+EC is $3.6 million facility set in the our teaching vineyards. It is a unique state-of-the-art industry centre that showcases Canadian wine, houses wine tourism information services, the Niagara College Teaching Winery, and academic and wine industry programming.  It serves as a gateway for the Niagara wine region and celebrates the Ontario and Canadian grape and wine industry through informative displays, tours, and an information centre to assist visitors in their exploration of wines and wine country.
