Discover the Construction Skills program offered by Niagara College in partnership with the Niagara Home Builders' Association (NHBA)

Niagara College and Niagara Home Builders’ Association are proud to partner to deliver a fully-funded (tuition-free), 16 week Construction Skills program for the spring of 2026 (pending funding). This program is made possible by the Government’s Skills Development Fund grant to meet labour demand in the residential construction industry.

Applications for 2025 are now closed.

Highlights

Program offers eight weeks of hands-on learning and skill development in the School of Trades at Niagara College's Welland Campus.
Students participate in an eight-week paid work placement after their classroom training is complete.

This Employment Ontario program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
