    Spend the evening with us identifying plants and animal species on the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus. Expert scientists lead citizen scientists like yourself on hikes around the property while identifying and cataloging the bugs, birds, amphibians, mammals, and plants.

    Join us on the Co-Curricular Record portal ‘Get Involved’, in the Sustainability organization. The portal allows you to sign up and participate in events which can be applied toward your Co-Curricular Record.

    Earth Hour takes place annually in March, where individuals, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to turn off their lights for an hour in the evening

    A portion of the Bruce Trail runs through the Daniel J. Patterson campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

  • Wetlands Restoration

    The lagoons complex in Niagara-on-the-Lake – originally a waste water treatment facility – has evolved into a diverse wetland ecosystem through restoration projects by Niagara College students.
