#NCTogether Holiday Awards

In celebration of the coming winter season, let’s have a little festive fun! Introducing the first ever #NCTogether Holiday Awards, a chance to show your NC spirit in 5 categories that celebrate a variety of interests and talents.

Submissions will be accepted from Tuesday November 24th to Monday December 14th at 4:30 p.m. Staff and faculty are encouraged to submit an entry for as many categories as they'd like.

Virtual #NCTogether Holiday Reception

Winners will be chosen on Wednesday December 16th during our Virtual #NCTogether Holiday Reception via Zoom (a link will be circulated via email). The featured entries in each category will be shared, and winners for each category will be drawn at random.

Prizes

The winner from each category will receive a $50 gift card to either the NC Teaching Brewery, NC Teaching Winery or NC Greenhouse.

An ugly holiday sweater is any holiday or winter themed sweater that could be considered tacky or gaudy. The more embellishments the better! Entries may be homemade or purchased, so long as it’s over-the-top!

Best Instagram Worthy Seasonal Baking

They say you eat with your eyes first, show off your best seasonal baking with photos and a description of your favourite recipe. Whether it be a traditional family recipe or a new one that is uniquely yours, we want to see your delicious creations.

Cheeriest Holiday Song

Video Submission (30 Seconds)

Warm up your pipes and get ready to sing those "jingle bells", staff and faculty are invited to share their talents by submitting a 30-second sample performance of their favourite holiday song. Whether it be a classic or your own unique arrangement, spread a little cheer through the gift of music. (Both vocal and/or instrumental performances are welcome!)
