It’s that time, once again, where Niagara College looks to you to honour our remarkable employees and recognize their efforts to support college goals and enrich college life.
For over 30 years, NC has recognized employees who demonstrate excellence in their area of work, exemplify our values and culture, and show commitment to our NC community. With nominations from their peers, the annual Awards of Excellence are given to an employee from each category: Faculty, Support and Administration – as well as a Team award – at Niagara Day in the fall.
This year, NC has revamped the nomination process for the Awards of Excellence to make it easier to recognize your peers for their contributions.
You can now complete the nomination process from start to finish through the recently updated website – www.niagaracollege.ca/coe/awardsofexcellence – where you’re able to save your progress and pick-up where you left off. Letters and supporting documents can also be uploaded directly to the site.
The website features the award criteria, eligibility, and a clear, detailed step-by-step guide (including examples) to help you through the process.
Nominations are due September 19, 2023 and can be submitted starting today. The nomination site is open early this year to ensure you have ample time to connect with your colleagues to prepare and submit a nomination in advance of the deadline.
