A message from Rick Anderson, Vice-President, Student Affairs:

Further to my announcement earlier this week regarding the recruitment of our two Senior Directors, I am pleased to announce that Sarah Pennisi has accepted the position of Senior Director, Student Services & Wellness.

Some of you may know Sarah from collaborating with her in her current role at Brock University as the Director, Student Wellness and Accessibility.

At Brock, Sarah created a full-service Student Wellness Centre utilizing a leadership approach based on collaboration and transparency; development included the creation of service standards along with a departmental strategic plan and roadmap. Prior to her time at Brock, Sarah was Director, Social Assistance and Employment at the Niagara Region which entailed responsibility for a very large portfolio with over 200 staff.

Sarah holds a Masters of Social Work and PhD, both from McMaster University with specialization in Social Policy.
