Niagara College was featured in Getting frank with Franklin, a blog written by Colleges Ontario president and CEO Linda Franklin.
Franklin writes about the impressive role that colleges have played in helping the province during the COVID-19 outbreak, including how colleges continue to donate much-needed equipment and protective gear to local hospitals and health-care centres. In addition to donating existing resources, Franklin mentions that certain colleges are also using their advanced manufacturing and design equipment to create new products to tackle this challenge and includes NC’s efforts to produce new face shields for front-line workers as an example.
