With the health and safety of our College community as our top priority, Niagara College is implementing additional measures which impact access to our campuses in Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake, beginning Tuesday, March 17.
While classes have been suspended, and staff members are working remotely, the measures are being taken to help protect the limited exceptions of staff and students who will be on campus.
Parking enforcement has been suspended across both campuses at this time. Only Niagara College staff, students and contract employees will be allowed on campus and will be asked to show their Niagara College ID cards.
If you do not have an ID card, please follow the instructions at www.niagaracollege.ca/idcards and in the interim, security will confirm your identity by checking with the College's online directory. Students needing a reprint can contact [email protected].
Restricted entry points to campus
The College is restricting entry points to its campuses in Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
- At the Welland Campus there will be one entry point: the Applied Health Institute entrance. Please note that parking will now be permitted in Lot A.
- In NOTL, there will be two points of entry: the main entrance (front, facing Taylor Road) and the Marotta Family Innovation Complex.
All other buildings will be closed.
Mandatory check-ins
To enter campus buildings, staff and employees must show college ID. Please have your college ID ready prior to arriving on campus.
Mandatory hand sanitizing
At the entrance, following check-in, staff and students must use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance for use.
