As NC continues to attract students from around the world, it’s important that the College community has an opportunity to learn about where NC students come from and the context of educational experiences in those countries. NC’s International Culture Series aims to support this goal and is part the College’s ongoing strategy to provide greater awareness for our staff and faculty to best support academic and transitional success for our internationally trained students. The International Culture Series focuses on three key themes: cultural norms, education systems, and communication norms and techniques.

This ongoing series will feature sessions open to all staff and faculty to attend at the start of each term as well as additional sessions during the academic year.
