The news that NC will be part of a new College Consortium for Cannabis was shared by Education News Canada on Nov. 8. NC has joined NorQuest College, Durham College, Okanagan College and Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB), alongside Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan), for a research collaborative that will support four areas: the cannabis market; the development of workforce relevant courses; the establishment of a cluster of subject matter experts, and the pursuit of shared funding for applied research.
The consortium is expected to grow as more colleges develop cannabis programming.
