A message from Pam Skinner, senior vice-president of Corporate Services:
This morning at approximately 8:45, in consultation with the NRPS and out of an abundance of caution, the College implemented a lockdown at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus to ensure the safety of students, staff and visitors. After police determined that there was no known threat to safety, the lockdown was lifted. Thank you to all students staff and visitors for your cooperation and patience.
UPDATE:
The Niagara Regional Police Service has posted a media release related to the incident earlier today. Any questions regarding the ongoing investigation should be directed to the NRPS.
