Rod Mawhood reporting for The Niagara Independent published a piece on ReuKnighted, Niagara College’s first alumni reunion event, drawing past athletes and alumni from the college’s broadcasting and sports management programs back to campus for two days of celebration.
Mawhood includes commentary from Michele O’Keefe, NC’s associate director, Athletics and Recreation, and Jana Boniferro, alumni engagement officer, Foundations and Alumni Relations. O’Keefe explains how the idea for ReuKnighted came to be, and the collaborative effort between Athletics and Recreation, and Alumni and Development.
ReuKnighted takes place on Friday, November 1, kicking off with an exclusive tailgate for alumni in The Core, followed by a Knights basketball game and live entertainment. The weekend continues into Saturday with hall of fame inductions and Knights volleyball.
The story features an image of Amy Audibert, BRTF grad, 2012, who will be among the outstanding alumni at Friday’s event.
