A message from Lianne Gagnon, director, Student Services:
After 30 years at Niagara College, Carolynn Beaulne will be retiring on August 1, 2019.
Carolynn began her long career at Niagara College on a part-time basis working in Continuing Education until she became full-time in 1995. In 2003, Carolynn transferred into what we know as Student Services although her role morphed into different responsibilities over the years.
Carolynn has worked at all of our campuses including the old Wellandvale campus. She saw the opening of both the Maid of the Mist and Niagara-on-the-Lake campuses and even donned work boots and a hard hat to tour the newly constructed campus. Much has changed since Carolynn started with us three decades ago, but one constant remains: her commitment to supporting our students and our staff. As the Student Services Administrative Co-ordinator, Carolynn has ensured that we remain organized, efficient, connected, and responsive to students’ needs.
Carolynn has established long-term friendships with colleagues over the years, and I know they will miss her. Please join us in wishing Carolynn a fond farewell on the next leg of her life journey. We will be gathering in the SAC Boardroom in Welland on Thursday, August 1st from 3:00-5:00 pm. I’m sure she’ll appreciate seeing you there.
