Get ready for a seasonal and spooky celebration at NC’s Fall Student Appreciation Day! Stop by the Wellness Lounge on both college campuses to relax, connect with friends, and enjoy some Halloween-themed fun. From movies and seasonal crafts to snacks, a photo booth, and a costume contest, there’s something for every NC student.
Student Appreciation Day will take place on:
- Tuesday, October 28 – Welland Campus
- Thursday, October 30 – Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake
Don’t forget to wear your Halloween costume and visit the Wellness Lounge between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a chance to participate in the on-campus costume contest!

With Student Appreciation Day around the corner, and a tight turnaround time, NC’s Student Engagement team and NCSAC are leading this year’s initiatives and activities. If your department is interested in participating or would like an event promoted as part of Student Appreciation Day, please fill out the following survey.
If you cannot host a Student Appreciation Day activity, there is also the opportunity to participate in the Halloween decorating contest to help create a fun and engaging way to share the spirit of Halloween with staff and students. Awards will be given for the following categories: Spookiest, Frighteningly Festive, and Best in Show.
