NC students were treated to a day full of fun festivities and food during Student Appreciation Day held at both campuses (Welland Campus, July 15 and the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, July 17).

Organized by the Athletics and Student Engagement team, in collaboration with departments across the College, the events offered students a fun and engaging on-campus experience, with opportunities to connect with fellow students and interact with various areas of the College community.
“Student Appreciation Day is one of our favourite events because it’s the day that we say thank you to all Knights for choosing Niagara College,” said Marilia Welter, Student Experience Coordinator and lead organizer of the event.

Throughout the day, students enjoyed a range of activities including contests, trivia, music, photo booths and more. Pizza, a salad bar, freezies and a french fry truck added to the on-campus festivities.
A special thank-you goes out to the many departments that contributed to making Student Appreciation Day a success: Academic and Liberal Studies; Athletics and Recreation; Be World Ready; Campus Safety & Parking Services; Chartwells Foodservice; Community and Health Sciences; Culinary, Tourism and Beverage Studies; Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI); Enrolment Services; Financial Services; Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services; Human Resources; Indigenous Education; International Student Services; Libraries and Learning Commons; Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC); Residence; School of Business and Management; School of Environment and Horticulture; School of Media; School of Technology; School of Trades; Student Rights and Responsibilities Office (SRRO); Sustainability; and the Vice-President’s Office.
