There are two candidates running for the position of Support Staff Member on the Niagara College Board of Governors. It is a three-year term running from September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2021.
The two candidates, in alphabetical order by surname, are:
- Lynn Calder
- Laura Fakla
Campaigning is permitted to begin on Tuesday, May 22 at 8 a.m. Elections will be conducted online from 8 a.m. on Monday, May 28 until 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. Please note that campaigning is permitted during the election period.
If you are an eligible voter, you will receive an email on Tuesday, May 22 confirming your name is on the voters’ list. Any person who is employed full-time by the College since January 31, 2018 and continuously until the election date, as a member of the office, clerical, technical, health care, maintenance or building service staff and is not governed by the Terms and Conditions of Employment for Administrative Staff is eligible to vote.
