An article in the Welland Tribune on May 18 brought attention to a new addition to the Niagara Safety Village located at the Welland Campus. 20 high school students from Notre Dame College School in Welland are constructing a “hospital” as part of the village, assisted by School of Trades professor Alex Lukacs.
The students are part of the School College Work initiative, which allows high school students to gain Niagara College credits alongside their high school credits.
