Students, staff and faculty from NC health-related programs who conduct health related research may have an opportunity to share their findings at Niagara Health Knowledge Institute Research Day.
The call for research poster submissions is now open for NHKI Research Day, to be held on May 1 at NC’s Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The event is expected to draw health researchers from Niagara, Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area to share their work.
Themed “Patient Engagement and Partnership in Community Hospital Research,” the event will feature a keynote address by scientist Dr. Kerry Kuluski, and Dr. Mathias Gysler, Research Chair in Patient and Family-Centred Care at Trillium Health Partners’ Institute for Better Health and will include workshops for health researchers and networking opportunities.
Those who conduct health-related research or quality improvement work are welcome to share their findings at the forum through a research poster presentation. NC staff and students are welcome to apply.
Poster presentation sessions will be a part the upcoming NHKI Research Day.
Those interested in a poster presentation submit an abstract. The abstract should describe research or quality improvement work that has been conducted in Niagara or has relevance to improving the health of the community.
The deadline for abstract submission is February 28. Applicants will receive a decision notification via email on or before March 21.
