On November 15 at 2 p.m., Niagara College will conduct a test of NC Alert, our urgent notification system. The test will specify that no action is required. An alert cancellation will also be issued.
During the test, you may hear an announcement on the paging system in campus buildings, and see a test message on the digital screens. College web pages and the MyNC Portal will display a banner, and the test message will be pushed out via social media – Facebook and X (Twitter). College apps will also push out the test message to those who have push notifications turned on.
Students and employees who have opted-in will receive a test message via personal email address and phone number (SMS text). All students and employees will receive the message to their NC email address.
