Once again, Niagara College will be participating in Take Your Kids to Work Day on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
The “Take Your Kids to Work” day is a popular and rewarding program that allows Grade 9 students to shadow a parent and experience a day in the life of an adult at work. Students get a first-hand look at activities, skills, and career choices in today’s workplace, as well as an appreciation of their parents’ work lives.
Employees who have children in Grade 9 are encouraged to bring them to work that day. There will be organized activities and tours for the students which will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon and then parents are expected to take their child with them to their class, lab or office for the remainder of the day. A full agenda for the day will be sent out in late October.
Those who would like to participate are asked to fill out a registration and photo release form and send them to Human Resources- L21 at the Welland Campus or email the completed form to [email protected] no later than October 30, 2024.
