The three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) reported on May 21 that Niagara College, Niagara Catholic and Notre Dame have teamed up to share space at Niagara Launch Centre, as well as tools, equipment and expertise to mitigate the demand for skilled trade workers.

The article references NC’s release announcing the expanded Launch Centre, where Vice-President, Academic, Fiona Allan said the College — itself running out of space — is committed to addressing the “pressing need for skilled tradespeople through collaborative and innovative education strategies.”

“Our partnership with Niagara Launch Centre allows NC to increase our capacity for trades programming on and off campus, and position us to explore collaborative program offerings with Niagara Catholic,” said Allan.
