St. Catharines Standard: Niagara College launches $50-million fundraising campaign

On April 12, the three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) announced that Niagara College launched its largest-ever fundraising campaign, the Together campaign, which was launched at the school’s Renaissance Gala held at Fallsview Casino Resort on April 6.

The campaign aims to raise $50 million, while the gala, which hosted more than 700 business and community leaders, raised $3.5 million. the gala has raised W$3.5 million over its 32-year history

President Sean Kennedy is quoted in the article: “We live in a changing world that is marked by significant needs for front-line health-care workers and skilled tradespeople, increased access and enhanced experiences for students, diverse and welcoming learning environments, global competencies and perspectives, and increased productivity and innovation.”
